Privacy Policy for ARaura
Effective Date: November 7, 2026
ARaura Augmented Reality Fashion Corp (“ARaura”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to safeguarding your personal data. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you access or use:
-
The araura.co website
-
The faes.ar website
-
The Faes AR mailing list, and our draws, contests, giveaways and surveys
-
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy covers ARaura’s websites, including www.araura.co and www.faes.ar; the Faes AR mailing list; our draws, contests and giveaways, including the Faes AR Monthly Draw; our surveys; and messages you send us through our websites or social media pages.
It does not cover the Faes AR application. The Faes AR Privacy Policy (www.faes.ar/legal/privacy) and Biometric Notice cover the application, your Account and your purchases. Signing up to the mailing list does not create an Account.
2. Key Commitments
-
We do not store or record facial likeness or video feed data.
-
We do not collect biometric identifiers.
-
We do not sell or rent personal data.
-
We provide clear user controls over consent, cookies, and data preferences.
-
3. Information We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to operate our services.
a. Personal Identifiers
-
Name and email address (account creation or contact form)
-
Social login credentials (if used)
-
Payment and billing information (when applicable)
b. Usage Data
-
Device information, OS, language
-
Feature usage (aggregated, anonymized)
-
Diagnostics and crash reports (if opt-in)
c. Mailing List, Draws and Surveys
When you sign up, enter a draw or answer a survey, we receive what you type into the form: usually your first name, email address, whether you run games or play, your country of residence where a draw needs it, and your survey answers. We record when you signed up and confirmed, the page you came from, and, if you entered through someone’s share link, whose link it was. Our email provider records whether our emails are delivered and opened. If you win a draw, we receive what you send us to claim the prize. We do not ask for your date of birth, address or payment details.
4. How We Use Your Information
-
To deliver and support our services
-
To personalize the user experience
-
To troubleshoot and improve functionality
-
To process payments (if applicable)
-
To fulfill legal obligations
We use mailing list, draw and survey information to send you the emails you signed up for, to run draws under their official rules, and to understand our players. Joining the mailing list is a condition of entering a draw, as its rules say. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing does not cancel an entry already made. With a winner’s consent, we publish their first name, last initial and province or state.
5. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and UK, we process data under Article 6 of the GDPR:
-
You have given consent
-
It is necessary for the performance of a contract
-
It is in our legitimate interest to provide and improve services
If you do not provide required personal data, some features (e.g. ownership of digital objects in Faes AR) may not function.
6. Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell or rent your data. We may share data with:
-
Service providers (e.g., cloud storage, email, payment processing), under contractual obligation
-
Kit (ConvertKit LLC), which holds our mailing list in the United States
-
Authorities when legally required
-
Successors in case of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale
Data shared is always minimized and purpose-specific.
7. International Transfers
Your personal data may be transferred and stored outside your country, including in the United States. We implement safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) where legally required.
8. Data Retention
-
Account data is retained while your account remains active.
-
AR content is user-controlled and stored locally unless explicitly uploaded.
-
Diagnostic logs (if opted-in) are deleted after 90 days.
-
You will be notified if your data is kept beyond these periods.
9. Security Measures
-
Encrypted transmission using TLS
-
Secure storage and access controls
-
Local-only video processing for AR features
-
Employees and contractors are under strict confidentiality agreements
Despite these measures, no system is 100% secure. We recommend users safeguard their own devices.
10. Your Rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)
You may exercise the following rights:
-
Access your data
-
Correct inaccurate data
-
Delete your data

Restrict or object to processing
-
